Family Room Preview...Almost There!

The curtains have been hung and the built-ins are almost complete, just a few more finishing touches and I promise I'll be sharing pictures of my (mostly) finished family room later on this week. Stay tuned!

{And please forgive the hideous utility boxes in plain view through the window -- the backyard is next on the "to do" list!}

Those are the most gorgeous drapes I've seen in my whole life. I love them. And the shelves are so much more beautiful than I ever could have imagined or designed. Bravo Averill! I'm waiting with baited breathe for the reveal later this week! And I have a reveal of my own - I didn't discuss it on my blog before, but we've got a fancy new kitchen to show off - SOOO fun!

ps - Hope you have a great day! Can you believe we're having dinner together in two weeks! YIPPEE!

I was too distracted by the ikat to even notice the utility items.

The curtains are perfect! Navy is such a good choice for drapes! Since it is a neutral, it will still go with the room should you change any colors in the future :)
