Nursery: Quick Midweek Update

I came home today to find a completely painted nursery; what a wonderful midweek pick-me-up! I'm loving how bright and clear the pale aqua is. Now all that's left is to starting loading in the room. Stay tuned!

{I should note that I didn't have a surprise visit from the painting fairies. Dave and I decided to bring in the professionals for this paint job given the fact that I'm 32 weeks pregnant and time is of the essence. I have to say though that I could get used to this; so much better than spending my weekend taping, painting and then cleaning it all up!}

In case you've missed out, you can catch up on this nursery design project by clicking HERE and HERE. Also, don't forget to enter for your chance to win a Binth Baby Book! I'll be announcing the winner Friday morning.

Yay! 3 cheers for blue nursery walls! They look great, especially with the orange. Smart move to bring in the professionals:)

Averill, this is so exciting I am grinning from ear to ear. This brings back memories for me with our first son's nursery. 9mo. ready to pop, hubby just put together the crib and put the mobile on it, he sits down on the bed and says,"I don't know if I am ready for this!" I glared at him and told him he had better be ready because it was too late!!! All ended well and 3 son's later and 40 years of marriage, still is funny today, Love your blue and love your crib, this is such a fun journey with YOU!! Hugs Kathysue

Okay, Averill, this is just too much! You just left me a comment, as I was about to visit your blog—how crazy... I was just thinking about you and wondering how you are. The nursery looks fabulous so far—I love the pieces that you have put together—so so excited for you and Dave! Thanks for keeping us inspired, always, and sharing these great updates :)

Have a wonderful evening,
xoxo

Yay! So glad that's one thing you can check off your list. I absolutely hate painting, and hope we will hire professionals to paint our kitchen - that involves WAY more taping than I care to do.

32 weeks, how did that happen?! Time flies (when you are not the one who is pregnant?!) Love the color and where it stops, just as the lines of the ceiling change. Great looking room to work with!
