White should be a bright white on all trim, etc. Brass hardware in the kitchen is a bit predictable perhaps-maybe a classic design but in copper or pewter. Pewter is great if the appliances and sink are stainless. Copper is gorgeous if you use it somewhere else like the sink, hood, copper cookware, or whatever.Beth Connollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10443450944645563476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6871878718824331017.post-3226022655181100962009-06-23T13:00:23.689-05:002009-06-23T13:00:23.689-05:00As always, it's looking fab! I'm differing a little from Christy on the dining room - I'm thinking white below the chair rail so that your dark wood furniture will pop, instead of blending into that gorgeous navy. As an aside, totally digging the stain on your cabinets!!! My husband has made me swear that our next house will have stained cabinets. :) Oh, and Restoration Hardware has some ridiculously awesome hardware for your cabinets that you might want to check out - http://www.restorationhardware.com/rh/catalog/category/category.jsp?navAction=jump&navCount=2&categoryId=cat160082Lizhttp://www.itsgreattobehome.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6871878718824331017.post-56395789009832459292009-06-23T12:30:56.210-05:002009-06-23T12:30:56.210-05:00Wowzers Averill! It is so pretty.

R: the dining room, I probably would go with the blue color below the chair rail - but I'm sure painting it out white would look fabulous too!

I love all the choices you guys both made. And I just can't wait to see it when it's done. I'm sure the bathroom tiles will look MUCH better when grouted!

That shower curtain is to die for. What color - oh wait, you said white. Very pretty. I am loving the bright orange one. I'm book marking that for future use. Our only bathroom with a tub has glass blue tiles...the white one would work, but I think one day we'll have a house where I could use the orange one!Christyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05615149112130152767noreply@blogger.com
