Mmmm...smoky

I love, love the Salem candle from D.L. & Co.'s Modern Alchemy collection. The packaging? Very cool -- I love the emblem with the burning witch (perhaps it reminds me of my heritage?*). The scent? Burning wood. It's like a campfire in your living room. Perfect for a cold night like tonight.

* - My ancestor, Sarah Averill Wildes was hung for witchcraft in Salem, Massachusetts, in 1692. Seriously. I should say though that I was not in fact named for her, but for a later ancestor. Moreover, the connection to Sarah wasn't even discovered until my husband started doing some genealogical research on my mother's family.
